Help restore Mexican gray wolves!

Asha, the young endangered lobo who captured our imagination with her recent journeys to northern New Mexico, has been sedated, captured, and kennelled by the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish.

Asha is one of the critically endangered Mexican gray wolves who need the freedom to roam and establish habitat in the Southern Rocky Mountains. But unscientific policies prevent lobos from crossing north of Interstate 40. In fact, when Mexican gray wolves are found north of I-40, they are sedated, captured, and relocated.

This is wrong. Wolves need to be wild, and arbitrary boundaries like Interstate 40 make no sense to wolves or scientific recovery.

Mexican gray wolves need access to the Southern Rocky Mountains to truly recover. We are urging New Mexico to rescind its opposition to science-based lobo recovery and allow Mexican wolves to roam.

Add your voice to the chorus urging Governor Lujan Grisham to help lobos recover by allowing them into the Southern Rocky Mountains.

Urge Governor Lujan Grisham to let lobos roam free
